GLASGOW : Two men in a burning jeep smashed into the main terminal building at Scotland's Glasgow Airport on Saturday in an attack carried out a day after a double car bombing was foiled in London.
Scottish police told AFP the vehicle's two male occupants were arrested after the jeep careered into the terminal sparking a fire, but there were no immediate reports of injuries.
Following crisis talks with senior ministers and intelligence chiefs in London, British Prime Minister Gordon Brown confirmed the airport incident was "an attack", as he justified raising the security threat level to "critical"
